I am not sure if this is the correct place to log this, but here it goes anyway. Please correct me if I am wrong. I just downloaded and tried out the PA Mac Alpha v50256 and running OS X 10.8.4. I am stuck on the home screen. I am trying to sign-in via with my Uber ID, and keep getting "Error connecting to UberNet: Invalid username or password." I checked my password, and I can login via UberEnt Forums, etc. using the same password. I do have a special character in my password, which might have something to do with it. I might try resetting and see if the problem goes away. FYI - Firewall is turned off in my System Preferences, and I do have an active internet connection. This is being typed from the same computer.
Yep. That was it. I set my password to something new and the problem went away. If you are interested, my old password had had a period as the special character. Hopefully someone from Uber will file a bug on that.
