Error connecting to UberNet: Title has not been activated

Hey all
this doesn't seem a terribly common problem so I'm hoping there is an easy fix for it. I recently bought the $90 edition of Planetary Annihilation which came with Alpha and Beta access however when I try to login through the game client it feeds me the following message;

"Error connecting to UberNet: Title has not been activated."

I converted my key to a steam one and activated it through steam and use the steam client to try and play, and the key is listed as activated on my UberNet account page.

Help?

What is your platform? Mac/Linux? Probably you have problem with automatic Steam account linking.

And link your Steam account manually, after you will able to run/play game though Steam and Uber launcher both.

Im on OSX Mountain Lion 10.8.4. Also I've been to that link you suggested and it shows my my UberNet account as being linked to my Steam account, should I reset it and link it again?
*UPDATE*
Turns out going through the motions of using the following link despite what my UberNet account page was telling me has payed off and it now works. ^^

It's strange because you aren't in "PA Alpha testers" group on this forum, but you should have this access if your Steam account (with PA) linked correctly.

Try, but also try to log out on forum and login again.

Strange, forum still not showing that you got alpha forums access. Have you tried to log out and login again?

Just did it then, has it changed yet? Also just played PA before, turns out doesn't work too well on my MacBook Air
