    Not PA related

Just throwing a shout out for this Kickstarter game by American McGee (of Alice fame)

    http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/spicyhorse/ozombie

In case people have missed it, I'd love for this to get funding, always been a fan of McGee's Alice and the follow up.

Yes I know, but I figured this was more for those who support PA through kickstarter than players of SMNC.
Anyway, hand slapped, standing in naughty corner...

So the PA audience thinks the Off-Topic section is only for (S)MNC players?

And you think us SMNC players are less likely to want something like this?

    I am offended.

A few random posts here and there. Them not posting here doesn't mean they can't read it.

There's more going on in unrelated than SMNC general. :( :(

anyway, as it stands, his assumption was correct, at least for me. right now, it doesn't interest me. but I don't know why it would interest PA people more.

Reading too much into it, all I meant was, PA backers have been willing to put money into a game that's in development & in fact making the games development possible. They might be willing to do so again.

I only realized the insult to SMNC players on reading these comments, sorry.

A lot of SMNC players are willing to put lots money into a game that probably won't be developed again.

With that kind of attitude coming from SMNC players, I wouldn't be surprised if Uber decided to ditch SMNC entirely and focus all their resources on the more appreciative community.[/NOTSARCASM]

To be fair, that attitude is a product of Uber's behaviour towards the smnc fanbase after they stopped making significant updates. No communication whatsoever. To this day, months after the last update, they still haven't made an official statement regarding SMNC's future.

Edit: Still, again, to be fair, shooter communities tend to be more volatile, immature and troll-ish than their RTS counterparts (excluding warsow of course ;>). See: TeamLiquid.net vs ESReality/GotFrag

I'd be surprised if the store sold over $50 worth of stuff per month these days.

    This thread derailed pretty fast.

But that doesn't benefit Uber in any way.

Did they make an announcement that they've stopped developing MNC back then? Just curious; can't be bothered to mine the forums myself.

I think all they did was lock the update section
