Hi all, Thought it was worth making a post in here, especially with regards Neutrino's question a few days ago as to what Uber can do for backers. I responded to a suggestion on Reddit about Uber livestreaming their working day. I'll paste the relevant bit here for convenience: It was also mentioned in the Kickstarter that Uber would be recording their progress in a documentary of sorts - this was one of the stretch goals. The snippets of video recorded in the Diary Room (I'm sure this would need renaming) could also be used for the documentary as well. Having these little video logs would also be useful in that they would probably be far less time consuming than posting bits like these, or indeed taking the time to do a fully produced livestream or video; as Neutrino has alluded to previously, time spent on this sort of thing is time not spent working on the game. With this format, we get what we want (juicy information and early gossip, discussion with the devs), and Uber wouldn't have to spend a lot of time on it at all (just record a minute-long snippet while enjoying some of your delicious-looking coffee and upload). Bit of a wall of text but pleased to hear people's thoughts.
Ho God, please, no ! Would be like a reality show with a "confession room" in a video compagny ! Don't open this Pendora Box Uber, i beg you ! (if you do so, at least assure you to get a LOT of money from this ;-) )
