Well, when ingame, units didin't move by thierselves to let other units pass, will it be fixed soon pls ? thanks !
Considering I don't think there has been a patch so far that hasn't had "Pathfinding fixes/improvements" I think it's fair to say that it'll come in time. Mike
The pathfinding is already tons better than it was a couple of patches ago. The commander is now able to process much longer queue's without getting stuck compared to before. I'm honestly amazed how there's noticable changes several times each week.
The AI for me felt noticeably crappier with the performance patch. i.e Engineers getting stuck way too easily and units straight out of factories getting stuck.
Units hardly have AI right now. ATM, they are pathfinding chassis with turrets stuck to the top. Remember that AI means Artificial Intelligence, implying that, in an RTS, a unit would have to do something of at least tactical significance to be considered intelligent. However, that most recent patch fixed a lot of pathfinding issues, specifically with buildings. Uber is on the right track with this stuff, it's turning out awesome.
Don't worry i know it's alpha, i just wanted some infos, they game is already awesome, and it's getting better than better , really waiting for the next patch to come out ! and i know the previous patch improved it a lot i'm reading news
