Problem loading in to match

Hey! I just bought alpha access.
I'm quite happy with that and I think you deserve the 90$ I payed!

But now my problem is I can start the game, and log in but when I want to join a match it just shows the version on the top (ALPHA + VERSION number) and the galaxy map, I already asked on IRC, but it seems that they don't know the anwser, I let it load for over 10 minutes, but still no game appeared.

I would love to post some logs, but i'm not sure where to find them.

I had something similar starting the game with my nvidia card as my laptop has two graphics card. I had to select the nividia to open the game not my default (crappy graphics card) hope it helps

Sure! (I don't got the best computer but I think it can run it)

Can you try forcing your laptop to run using the discrete video card? It may be an issue with your system trying to run the game using the integrated intel graphics. If that doesn't work get back to us.

edit: btw, yes, your computer should be capable of running the game, though performance during the alpha may be somewhat slow. I'm assuming your laptop has a Nvidia Geforce 650m? I think that's the graphics that come with that model, though the dxdiag usually doesn't show it on dual gpu systems. I've played the game on a similar system.

Yes, my laptop has a geforce 650m

So, I let it load for like an hour, and still that same screen.

I've updated my drivers to the latest one, still no luck.
also updating to the new version doesn't work either.

Can you post a log file.

Should be able to find them at:
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Uber Entertainment\Planetary Annihilation\log
(copy / paste that into your file explorer)

Here are the logs, not much in it tho, changed to the steam version to see if it fixed something, but it didn't, also reinstalling windows didn't help either

Can you try unblock TCP ports 9000 through 9050 on your firewall or router?

Yes, I did that now, still no luck

I also activated DMZ on my router, but still no luck Is there anything wrong with my account? because it doesn't say login_accepted when I try to join a game or create one

Ok, so sometimes I get you are already in a game, but even after waiting a couple of 10 minutes, it doesn't load, because I don't get login_accepted.

This is certainly a weird case. When I described the symptoms to others they couldn't think of a specific reason for it happening. Unfortunately those who can help you at this point are busy trying to get the Mac and Linux builds playable, and will likely be moving to Win32 after that.

I'll try to get someone to look in to this next week since at the very least the game should handle this situation with some messages about what's going wrong.

Edit: One last thing you might try is if you have any other programs running at the same time try shutting them down (steam excluded). It's a long shot but its all I can think of to do for now.

Can you check my account like in the database or something. Because somebody else tried on my account, and he wasn't able to login, but if he logs in his account he is able to login and play! (with my account he can't play)
