I played the steam version for 2 hours then got off and when i came back it said there is a new build and go to ubernet to get it. There were two butins later or exit and i clicked later and it would not let do anything except go to the settings or quit. So i went to ubernet and could not build 49499
I don't know anything about the steam version but the game should update automatically when starting the launcher.
You can try to verify the cache on Steam and force an update like that. Right-click on PA in your library, select Properties, go to the tab Local Files and select verify integrity of game cache at the bottom. Good luck!
