Single player?

When will we be able to play single player?

Yes, Skirmish, There is no Campaign but the is the Galactic War Meta Game, which is similar to Risk.

What you mean in teh Alpha? You kinda already can, just host a game and launch before anyone else gets in, but there isn't much for AI yet.

How do you Host a game without another person at the moment?

For me it just shows "quick match" for either NA or EU but no way to play a game that i host.

Just use that and start the game before anybody else had the time to join.

How do I start it with no-one else in it?
It just tells me that it is waiting and there are no other buttons except back.

There is NOTHING on the game screen when I press quick match, except the waiting screen and a back button (for several minutes i haven't waited longer).

Sorry for being such a noob but i can see no way to ready up D:

Don't use quick match. Host your own match and ready up before anyone else joins.

Could you tell us where the host match button is?

Never mind, found it under the Ubernet games tab.

Mrpoo, that should be an option now (was grayed out before, servers must have been down).

i just "started" a quick match...

select a army(does not matter wich one, the're all the same) and then hit ready..

but do not expect that much from the "AI" it just sits there and awaits annihilation

I had the same problem, I just quit out of the game and went back in. seemed to fix

Would be cool if the AI had a bit more then a few turrets to work through.

Is there no single-player campaign for now as it is early, or it will never have one?

There won't be story-driver campaign, but there will be Galactic War mode:
