does it have more range? I tried once and was owned, cause the ships could evade, the stationary arty ofc not. But it seems the newest build has changed something with the ships anyway.
Engine bugs for me. Once we stop phasing through the earth, then I feel we can focus on AI and balance.
I am not asking for perfect balance, but cutting it's range in half is done quickly and it is easier to test i.e. landwars when you games are common to end up with them. At least before the last build it was very very very common for people to make t2 ships nullify all land attacks completely with them. There is a difference between beta -> "let's do awesome balance for cool ladder matches" and alpha -> "balance is no important, but it should be halfway reasonable so people dont always just make unit x because it is 10 times as good as everything else"
Small UI improvements would be at the top of my list. I have several ideas as to what I'd like to to see: Making is so queued orders are displayed, setting icons for idle builders, more tooltips for orders etc. But these are by no means what should be done, just stuff I would personalyl like
The double click selection problem is really annoying too. I can't count the number of time my worker loose their build queue because I inadvertently selected all of them.
Isent it the other way around? Since you have to fight for mass points you start fighting earlier and dont just turtle-build a army.
No mass points would be horrible, kind of stopped playing with randoms until they fix it. Just play with people i know and agree to not stack buildings, only build on metal spots and avoid any of the other economical abuse. Games are infinitely more fun and fast passed as a result. Econ is totally screwed atm with the building stacking & the fact you don't even need to make mexs in the first place games go from few early skirmishes to interpenetratable bases and 6-10 T2 factories being assisted by 5 T2 bots each constantly spewing units across the map by the 10-15 mins mark.
Other - To actually be able to play the game :cry: I am unfortunately one of the very few who suffers from the game crashing at launch
Mass, far too much, and far too many. It's core prime all over again, fun for a while, but feel kinda dirty.
I am finding people putting the gasoline before the automobile, and wanting new features ahead of fixed features. For instance, metal points would be new features really. Tweaking the lighting to work the way it should, the graphical bugs to be fixed, and the player control issues like selecting units through the planet or the camera not being snapped to an axis by default, all make the current game cause problems for the players. Metal points and nukes aren't griefing anyone by not existing yet.
My most desired next change? Space (as in being able to travel between multiple worlds and astroids)!
