Ordered the $40 of the site will I get steam acces in 4 days

Right if this has been mentioned I'm sorry but the search wasn't finding anything. Iv brought the $40 pack from the store and wanted to know if that would get me access to the steam version if not could I cancel my order and get it through steam?

The $40 preorder gets you the game when it's finished. The last estimate I saw for the released version was December. If you want in now you'll need to upgrade to the $90 pack that gets you alpha access, which you can later convert to Steam if you like. The Steam early access that starts June 13th is the alpha. The devs are just giving the KS backers and preorder folks an extra week to play before it unlocks on Steam.

The Uber store will let you upgrade. You can convert to Steam later.

So does this mean that to actually buy and play the game on steam this week you will need to spend the 90 bucks through steam?

Yes, unless you have alpha access through us already and wish to convert your key.

Ah, sorry. I don't know exactly when, but I believe the aim is to have the option available as soon as the Alpha goes live on Steam.

So will the early access version on steam cost 90$ as well?
Because I donated 50$ on Kickstarter to get me into the closed beta, not alpha.
And then in 2 days one of my best friends pays like 40-50$ on steam to get himself in alpha and I have to wait till September, well I don't know but I personally find that a bit odd, my friend also finds it weird that he would get into the game earlier for less money then me.

I am fairly certain that the alpha on Steam will also cost $90. However you really should buy it through Uber and then convert to Steam later as Uber gets more of the money that way. And you get the alpha a couple of days sooner.

I imagine that the Steam price will drop to $60 when the beta comes out and then drop again to $40 when the game is actually released. Its actually a pretty clever marketing strategy.

I don't want to be in the alpha, but I would just have found it unfair that my friends would have had to pay the 40$ price on steam for what I would have paid a lot more for.

Access to Alpha costs $90, regardless where it's purchased or downloaded. We've reiterated this often. Steam Early Access is for the Alpha. Steam Early Access will be $90 during the Alpha.

I am quite certain that the price on Steam for any given level of access will always be the same as the price in the Uber store for that same level of access.

The only exception would be people who got beta access or just the finished game for less than current prices during the Kickstarter campaign. That is the reward they get for taking a risk with their money at such an early stage.

If the Steam price is $40 for the Beta then I'll get that, if not then I'll wait until the price of the released game drops to $20

I am adamant that I won't pay a financial penalty to play PA just because I happened to discover Kickstarter a week or two after Uber closed their funding page down.
