The PS4 looks good for a console. It's absolutely trouncing the Xbone.


The only real issue with it (other than not being a PC) is that it now requires a fee to play online, like Xbox Live does. I won't ever get one if I have to pay a fee to play multiplayer.

Hard to blame a corporation for trying to make money.

Yeah, current Playstation online premium is pretty cool, though they may make that a secondary thing to a mandatory fee. Hard to say, though.

I like the idea of PlayStation+ the way it was on PS3. I don't like the idea of holding online play ransom for a monthly fee. I'd even take a one-time $10 multiplayer activation or something.

The online fee is like the only negative I'm seeing, and while it would be nice for them to stick to the PS2/3 way of doing online, it isn't a deal breaker for me. Even though I probably won't buy any of the new consoles any time soon ha... At least it is going to give you nice free games for getting in on it.

Probably more things that I haven't looked into. It's looking like it is off to a good start.

If you still want free online on a console, I think the Wii U still does it :3

Honestly, I have no interest in the Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts games. I don't see the appeal. I'm more interested in Octodad.

While it does kinda suck, it's definitely not terrible.

It's like, "Crap, I gotta pay basically for Xbox Live on PS4, BUT I get all these sweet games with it."

Honestly, the party chat was thing is amazing. The voice chat on PS3 blows, no talking to anyone else between games and the text chat had so many censors, (Maria is censored,wut).

What, you mean the new feature for Xbl where you get two free AAA titles for every month of Xbl Gold you are subbed to?

Also PS+ $5/m = $60/y. Same Price as Xbl Gold.

I'm just happy to see that Xbox One is worse.

It looks a little bitty similar to the XBox One. It's the same two-tone black, just skewed off to the side.

I'm sure with a little time, you'll be able to pickup a Pitgirl-skinned console of your choice. (except SMNC is an unpopular game and therefore you'll have to get a skin of a game people have actually heard good things about)

The Xbox games aren't an ongoing thing. They're just a promotion for every month until the Xbone launches.
