I just downloaded and installed the game and when i click play i get this message. http://puu.sh/3aIDP.png I then tried re installing but it didn't work. Please Help.
I am not sure this is the right forum to make such a post but whatever. Did you install directx or update it before launching the game? http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... aspx?id=35 It is also very useful to update your graphics drivers last but not least you will need to have a 64 bit windows version.
Had the same problem as OP (this is Windows 8 x64). Running the DirectX Web Installer from Microsoft resolved the missing DLL error, but the game crashes back to desktop instantly before it finishes painting the first window. In my case, this is probably an extreme edge case - I was attempting to run the game under a guest Parallels VM (my BootCamp VM on a Retina MBP). It was worth a try I guess I'll just wait for the OS X build to become available and try again on my native OS.
