OSX Support

I noticed that the Alpha email only has a link to an EXE for installing the game. Does the alpha not support OSX?

Currently only Windows 64-bit is supported as far as I know

Getting the Mac OS build playable is next on our list. We've been building it daily, but there are some gnarly issues to get resolved that are Mac specific that we need a little focused time to get sorted out. We'll be doing this very soon.

No problem, I actually wasn't expecting the alpha to work on OSX, just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something. Thanks for all you guys are doing, this is going to be awesome!

Damn. Disheartening to hear, but I sort of expected no OSX alpha release. Ah well, no Windows here to test with.

Good to hear Alpha is still going for Macs. I was afraid I upgraded to Alpha to realize Alpha was Windows only.

Hope it works well on my retina macbook! Icon scaling for HiDpi can sometimes be an issue - sometimes they end up tiny and unreadable.

A large proportion of the code I've written for the game was developed on my retina mbp.

Any ETA on the MAC compatible Alpha? I backed this level and I'm somewhat disappointed not being able to participate in Alpha....

I wasn't either expecting an alpha osx build but i'm glad to see that i will probably be proven wrong in the near future

Guys the Mac and Linux builds are on Steam, new Steam buyers got it before us actual backers because of their problems with the standalone launcher, annoying as hell but nothing we can do about it but be slightly annoyed and wait for the key changer.
Edit - just as i said that the mac build was announced on twitter, sad for us Linux users but its a good step.

or do we get a key for both our steam and Uber account ?

After getting the Steam key you should still be able to play through the Uber launcher.

As long as I know alpha version for Mac already available in Steam.
I sure Uber will let you get Steam key or Mac version soon.
