I got my alpha key, installed and got a system error message. Specifically:
"The program can't start because d3dx9_43.dll is missing... try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I selected verify files (v49122,) it appears to check everything without seeing any new files needed. Tried deleting PA folder, Files re-download and same error message. Looked for uninstall through add/removed programs--does not exist.

Can I get that file separately to fix the problem--most likely wait for something past 49122 and see what happens.

    Win 7 Ultimate 64bit
    I7 960
    6GB
    Installed on SSD drive.
    Radeon HD 7700 Series Video

Personally, I'd say to install the latest DirectX libraries. That should fix it.

You'll need to install DirectX: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=35

Please note that alpha issues should be posted in the bug tracker (this exact issue is present there with the above link), or if it needs discussion, in the Alpha forum. This will help collate these problems to see if there is a trend indicating a wider issue.

Sorry, I looked for the appropriate place to post that but did not find it.
