Hi, ozonexo3 here, again

Becouse i can not wait for alfa i started work on Delta Commanders statuete. I have no experience in this, so first i want to test some materials and techniques. Maybe someone here have bigger experience and advise me something.

First for today was "Eva" foam. Its great material used in Cosplay (for example Iron Man armor) Model looks raw, but after application of the primer, paint and varnish should look pretty decent. This element is 14cm wide and 12cm high. For sure this will go to trash, this was only test and I want to make it bigger.

You should make a human-scale version for actual cosplay.

That's awesome, what material are you making it from? Is it just called that ? "eva" foam?

What will your method be for painting something so small and articulate.

Yes, its Eva foam. It cost 5zł (1 euro) for 3 A4 2mm in many colors. I have white, gray and black, but you can buy it in any other color. Cut it with sharp knife and use cyano-acrylic glue.

About painting, i need to see, what tehnique will be best for that.

in shop for artists, or in any other shops from "Hand made" category, paper shops etc.
