Howard Mostrom! Thank you!

I just want to say thanks to Howard for introducing me to the Akai EWI. After seeing the Feb. 1st video update where he explained what it was, I've wanted one ever since. I managed to score one recently for a bit of a discount and have been loving it.

It looks both awesome and expensive. I really wanted one but then I realised it would only be a very expensive toy.

Pretty much.The Akai unit reminds me of the Eigenharp. Digital breath controlled instruments seem way too cool......

Still jealous. It's a toss up between "upgrading" my kaoss mini stuff to full pro version, or getting an Eigenharp.

The EWI is awesome isn't it!! It's one of my best purchases of all time. The Eigenharp looks like a lot of fun. What I really want is some kind of expressive midi foot controller to use in conjunction with the EWI. A foot Kaos pad would be awesome!

BTW, "Mostrom" is obviously a german name originally. Shouldn't it be "Moström"? At least during the live stream Mavor pronounced it as if it was "Moström".

How is Mostrom a german name? I am german and I never heard this name before.

If you add the marks over the O its clearly more Sweedish or norweegian.
If it was Mostrøm then clearly sweedish or danish..

But it doesn't change the way of it's pronunciation. It is especially important for translators to the languages in which there are two different letters for o and ö (in russian for instance it's "о" and "ё").

Did you get instrument from somewhere else? I heard that its basic sound is not that good.
