MNC: Best of Sniper music video on Youtube

Here are my 2 cents:

By labelling the video "best of sniper", you essentially made it seem to anyone passing by that this video contains amazing footage. You never specified it was best of YOUR gameplay. That's what I thought when I first saw the thread. There's nothing terribly wrong with that. It was just a simple labelling error. What threw people off track was you trying to defend yourself when people pointed out your error.

So all in all, just a labelling problem.

Next I'd like to comment on sniper quick scoping.

I think that a sniper who can quick scope is much more skilled than a sniper who can not. The 1-5 seconds a sniper can gain from quick scoping an enemy could mean either life or death for that sniper. You also have to take into account the ammo saved. If you have to use more bullets in your clip, you'll have to reload sooner which also takes a couple more seconds. Yes, you can use turrets, traps, and your SMG to deal with closer encounters but that still takes more time to kill than a quick scope. What if you have 2 assassins running towards you when your traps are not set up, and no turrets around? Quick scoping would be much handier.

Quick Scoping isn't sniping, first of all.

But it doesn't matter what you do so long as you're helping your team. Bot control, Pro Control, harassment. Who gives a flying *redacted* how you go about doing that? Most people quick scope to show how 'pro' or '1337' they are, not to do anything productive.
That being said I've quick scoped numerous times when I ended up in close range with an enemy I wasn't expecting, but the sniper in this game has other options. (Flak, grapples, SMG)

Play how you want, screw anyone complaining about if you use your scope on your long range weapon correctly.

The video itself wasn't bad, you certainly seem to get more headshots than I do.

Quick Scope doesn't mean your good at all.. it means your good at putting a sticker in the center of ur tv.. lol

(or for those who don't.. your good at determining the center of ur tv.. no skill really)
