During the entire length of the alpha there will be 5 big updates and 23 small ones. During the beta there will be 3 big updates and 12 small ones.
In case of needing large numbers instead, I prefer to pull random length strings of numbers from random starting indexes in pi, a random number of times. If I ever start making test I feel so sorry for those poor students. What was the topic again? >.> <.<
√-π Or possibly 42. Also, if a number is both irrational and imaginary does that make it the derivative of a psychotic state of mind?
It's not pointless if you what to know info about the game, suggest things and to ask questions that's what this whole forum is about.
Somewhat off topic, but not it isn't, or at least that wasn't the intent. Go back to the Jan 10th Live Stream where they talk about the 'new' Backers Lounge and you'll see that they intended the BL to be primarily used for them to communicate things to us, via things like Backer Only content and to get more directed feedback(like with naming the replay system). Suggestions, opinions or ideas posted in the Backer's Lounge have don't have any more or less Merit, Value or Developer Visibility than things posted in the General Discussion Subforum. Mike
I have a phobia of derivative forum threads, I believe it's called phorechaniphobia. There isn't really an answer the original question as there isn't a predetermined schedule for patches. However if you think of the alpha phase as being everything we have to add to the game between now and the beta release, and that it generally will be released as things come online, you can expect lots of both small and large updates.
Here's an equation for you: y=cx+fn y=number of updates c=average number of big updates per update day x=number of days a big update is released f=average number of small updates released n=number of days a small update is released This, right here, is EXACTLY how many updates we will be getting. To the letter. I must be magic or something.
My sister went to Pomona college, so I have a shirt with 47 emblazoned across the front of it. Random fact not mentioned on the wikipedia page, the freeway off ramps people use to get to the college from either of the two freeways that pass near Pomona are both exit 47.
