not really a screenshot, but considering all the Don't Starve ones, I have to say I'm pulling my hair out trying to beat adventure mode legit.

it's rarely because of sanity. the terrain is just unforgiving. i had an archipelago map just now that was 90% swamp. tentacles everywhere.

ALMOST but not even remotely as good as when I saw the Northern Lights for real.

In The Cold Winter, yes. It rains A LOT and I mean a lot. Because of this, garlands don't help. Winter hats are mandatory to keep your sanity up, while also getting yourself some clothing for winter since it starts sooner.


Also, in The King of Winter, you have to destroy your sanity to lower some obelisks preventing your access to one of the portal pieces. I recommended getting one of the MacTusk hunting parties killed by some beefalo so you can get his hat. This helps you survive the never ending winter while also recovering your sanity.
