Buy: SupCom or SupCom2

Hi,

I never really played SupCom or SupCom2. Seems like I missed a great gaming experience. I now have to decide which of the two I want to buy: The newer one with lesser rating, or the older one with higher rating?

Any advice?

Should have mentioned FA, too. If I believe the online critics, SupCom FA is the winner.

Buy Supcom with the FA expansion. (They are usually bundled together.) There aren't a significant number of improvements that Supcom 2 brings to the table, and there are enough detriments to polarize the community. Supcom/FA has its own flaws, but for the most part, you'll be getting a much better strategy game. Additionally, the community for Supcom/FA is currently a lot more active than that of Supcom 2, in the form of the Forged Alliance Forever client, so you'll end up with more longevity as well.

SupCom2 is like the baby version of SupCom. SupCom one is much harder than two
