I know that Uber has mentioned no upgrades for commanders and units (i hate upgrades anyway) but will the commanders have background abilities? Uber said when they realesed the Delta commander that they wanted a "Sporty" look. I imediately thought that maybe the delta would be faster but maybe have less power. When you look at the theta now it looks bigger and they way it would move means it would be slower. So the background abilities would be more or less like stats. Some are stronger and some ar faster. Maybe some are faster at building.
Last we heard, Current plan was that each commander(there will be LOTS of commanders) will have 2 'ability' slots, exactly what the 'abilities' are is still unknown. I compiled all the Info we squeezed out of Neutrino here; Commanders and What we know so far. Mike
sorry to be asking a dumb question but... I saw on mikes post quoted from neutrino that before each game you can choose abilities, but mike recapped that abilities are fixed. who do i listen to?
That Quote was more so in regards to the 1K Backer Commanders. Also Right above that quote Neutrino says that Abilities are Locked; I should prolly tweak that to make it clearer. Mike
The second quot contradicts your point! I (assomingly) think it means Yah choose your guns on commander a, and commander b, choose either commander a or b, then kill robots with them! but first says opposite
I clearly stated that the quote; Was in Reference to The 1K Backers, who get thier own Custom Commander, so it's not contradicting anything, they get to choose the 'abilities' when the Commander is being created and then they are locked just like the other commanders. Mike
i was under the impression all the commanders abilities were set and we dont choose abilities but we choose commanders with the abilities we want.
I heard a rumor that the first commander special ability is....... "total destruction". You can activate it by pushing "CTRL-A" and then "CTRL-D". Still a rumor though..
