My question after watching today's livestream: Will there be sloped hills like in TA or just 2-4 height levels with ramps as in StarCraft? I prefer the TA way, of course.
Sloped hills, of course. If they could make a game with real-ish 3D terrain almost 15 years ago I think they'll want to do it again now.
This was just a planet where the height range was set to zero, in the previous video an unrefined height range tool make bulges all over the planet, and while they were ugly its easy to say that it was in really early dev. So in short yeah this is essentially confirmed.
the question of course is should units be smart enough to go over or around to shoot, or is that a micro problem?
