This. I do expect people to be sorely butthurt over how non-playable it will be, so anyone reading, please understand that this is a long way in the making already, and besides that getting the units to show up on a procedually created planet and move around is already a lot of the work needed already done.

However, personally, I actually expect there to be unit builders and unit weapons and unit destruction, as they said they can already play the very early version of the game on their computer two weeks to a month ago. Playing in my mind means that there is a commander unit able to build other units and a base overall and that there are units capable of killing other units and achieving a victory by all-enemies-killed. That sounds like what it is for a game to be "playable" to me.

Just keep your expectations low, and you will be impressed though. Want to keep the post-stream disappointment posts to a minimum, so I have less people to vent rage on and less risk of being banned.

I love these updates and they get my inner gamer pumped for the content. its like Christmas all over again. opening the box and finding that there are more goodies inside and then playing around with them to see what cool things I can do. also the art is amazing and I need more of it "MORE GIVE ME MORE I SAY". Can't wait for tomorrow to finally see the in-game demo.
