    1. Will there be satalite orbiting defense weapons platforms perhaps with particle beams and missiles?

    2. Will there be carriers, battle crusers and drop ships for your invasion armarda?

    1. Possibly, but not to any huge degree.

    2. No. There is no deep space combat. Only Orbital. Spaceships are very unlikely.

actually there will definitely be carriers and battle cruisers... just naval ones instead of space ones.

And drop ships are probably in there somewhere as well, just not interplanitary.

Since he was asking about planets I naturally assume that he's talking about Spaceships.

See here for a full list of known features.

I have seen the greybox of satellites, so I know they exist.

Satellites don't go deep space. They orbit around a body.

I don't want them to. This would only be a distraction from the game.

I'll say any kind of planetwide defense is probably going to have to take place in orbit, the enemy could make landfall anywhere otherwise.

I think the unit cannon will do that job

And this is a problem because...?

Making landfall is okay. In fact it's kind of desired. You WANT players to be fighting over planets!

Because you can't preemptively defend against landfall in ar

I'm sorry im done talking to you

And this is an issue why?

(Lowering the defenders advantage isn't much of an issue usually imo...)

if you don't know the answer then you are pretty dumb

the enemy can land anywhere, this is not

I'm sorry why do I have to explain how bottlenecks work?
