I'm somewhat of a lapsed gamer, who has switched to linux since XP. I'm excited about PA being cross-platform, as it means there'll be a decent, recent RTS I don't have to jump through hoops just to get running badly. For the past few years I've relied on TA (and other old games) in an XP VM (that works well for old stuff btw) for my gaming fix, and open source games like wesnoth natively. Anyway that's it, just a fluff topic to say I appreciate the cross-platformness. I hope in the future the majority of games will be platform independent, as I'm not paying for a windows 7/8/9 license, and mac is a non-option.
I'm trying to get all my programming in before this game comes out. Linux will no longer be my refuge from distractions.
