As much as I like the idea of there being some kind of easter egg in the game I would rather Uber spend their limited time and resources making things more awesome instead of putting a hidden button somewhere in the main menu or whatever.
Easter Eggs are always fun... I wouldn't mind Uber sticking them in as randomly spawning on generated planets... A Transormers thing on a Metal planet ever-so-rarely. A Minecraft cave with torches, etc. Super-Giant asteroids turning into "Awsome-Face" right before crashing into a planet.... Makes you want to conquer the galaxy just to see them...
I think an entire planet torn apart by old artillery craters And white flags dotted here and there Then at opposite sides of the map the husks of a red and blue artillery piece. One is the Scathis The other the Mavor Seems appropriate given who is working on PA
I gotta say, I love the idea of seeing some SupCom wreckage thrown in there. Having a Scathis and Mavor "husk" randomly spawn as wreckage every now and then would be a great idea, but that might be copyright infringement on some level.
I seriously doubt they will be able to place models from TA or SupCom in the game, even as wreckage, for copyright reasons. A Robo Hobo cameo would be pretty funny though.
I think it would fall under the fair use clause for parody (if they use the exact same unit models I'm not so sure). If they don't copy the unit models too closely it should be just fine. Some vagueness in your easter eggs to make it more of a tip-of-the-hat is always better anyway.
I think he's asking for an in-game screenshot for Easter... Not an in-game Easter egg. I would love to see a screenshot, if it's ready.
