    How's 1999 mode?
Is it really as unforgiving as it suggests?

I found Hard rather annoying, so 1999 mode, yikes.

Well from what I can tell, it's not really a higher difficulty, just things are changed, so it combines with difficulty.

So, I've heard it's good. My problem is that I haven't finished the first two yet. How much do you need to have played the first two?

If I'm not mistaken, the game is not a prequel, nor a sequel, and is only really related by name, gameplay and context. I'm sure there are some references to the first two in the game, but probably not more than easter eggs.

Either way, the first two are good games, so you should give them a look.

Infinite pretty much only shares a name and the Vigors are essentially the plasmids. Other than that no Big Daddies, no camera, etc.

I'd actually argue the games are very related story wise. At least between 1 and Infinite.

When I look at Infinite, I get a very Dishonored feel about it. Since there are no longer Big Daddies, there should be no more Little Sisters. So do you still have morality choices in this game?

'cause as we all know, if there are no children in a game there can't possibly be any!

Good to hear that playing the first two isn't required.

I've been trying to play bioshock, but for some reason I'm getting awful mouse sensitivity & acceleration issues.

I don't think you'll be doing much better in this one with mouse sensitivity. The setting defaulted to almost nothing and I still had to basically half the sensitivity.

Completed it earlier, by far one of the best endings to a game ever!

As for needing to play the others, you don't but it helps with putting some pieces together.

    Ending though, is woah.

I think the original game's twist was actually better, but the overall construction and story of Infinite is definitely better put together.

I think the game's emphasis on time travel and parallel dimensions sort of made me expect something ridiculous, where the original game you just walk into it.

    Re: Bioshock Infinite [Spoiler Friendly]

What is this time travel, this parallel dimensions, I had hard heard nothing of this. I did recall reading something about a multiverse but nothing besides that. This is good, but bad at the same time. The less I know about the game, the better.

Also, Bioshock 1's ending; so interesting when you play the game for a second time, because it always makes you think.
