What's Your Alpha Date Prediction?

Mike, you take things waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too seriously sometimes. I've worked in software, I know what sorts of things can come up.

lordq has the right idea, this is just for a bit of a laugh. If it wasn't already March I would have said Feb 29th.

If Uber were looking to hit first-playable very soon and they are feeling like they can trust us with properly alpha builds, then I would guess March 21st. If they are going to be stable alpha builds then we could be waiting a while longer.

Announced 18th or so, released for weekend of 23rd. Just to make us salivate =p

I'd say it would somewhere in midweek. Two working days before to make the finishing touches, and two working days after to battle the first wave of bugreports. And then go for a weekend.

So it's march 27.

Looking at the patch dates on Steam for MNC and SMNC; Uber typically does things at the end of the week.

They say never buy anything made on a Friday, so I'm gonna guess a random Monday some time between now and the beta release

Yeah, it does seem a silly thing to do. From memory, there was problems with some MNC patches that didn't get tended to right away, but in the end it was a smashingly fun game.

'cause that's the day I'm leaving on a week vacation and will be out of the country with limited internets access. Gives everyone and there mother a week to drool over the awesomeness that will be PA.
