    I see which one is the carrier now, I feel quite stupid.

    Before anyone jumps down my throat and tells me it's a whitebox, I understand. I just want to throw my opinion to the devs. I'm not sure I love the bombers. They seem sort of alien-like to me. I was always a fan to the UEF T3 strat bomber, and I would love to see the bombers more aesthetically similar to those.

    Still pumped though whatever they look like. I trust you guys to make a great game.

    I would like to have shields, they give great visuals.

    (I know there are not going to be any, so please do not tell me, I would like to have them anyway!)

    The planetary commander launcher does not seem to fit a commander with tracks.

    Upgrading/construction animations are so much fun to watch in FA.
    To bad it will not be possible to upgrade a factory.
    Do hope though that there will be construction animations, instead of delivering the complete unit once it is done.

    I love everything so far, but is that far right air unit supposed to be a gunship or a transport? I would really like a pelican/UEF t3 gunship style alot better, but I suppose I could get used to a quad rotor.

    Some real life ship sizes, couple of USA ships I found on wiki:

    Decommissioned Iowa-class battleship: length 270 meter
    Gerald R. Ford-Class aircraft carrier: length 333 meter
    Nimitz-class aircraft carrier: length 332.8 meter
    America-class amphibious assault ship: length: 257.3 meter
    Ticonderoga-class cruiser (guided missile cruiser): length 173 meter
    Los Angeles-class submarine: length 110 meter
    Seawolf-class submarine: length 107 meter
    Virginia-class submarine: length 115 meter

    Comparing this with ~90 meter of the largest vessel size.
    We are looking at miniature navy vessels.
    How can these be the ultimate weapon of the seas?
    (is it awesome enough :p ???)

    The thing about that is they spent more time on HQ renderings of those. Aside from the fact that most units are first pass, my guess is this is painfully close to a screenshot in 3dsmax. If you examine those units now, they look horridly detail-less and incredibly flat in design; once we get better renders and more work done on the new units I'm sure you'll like them more.

    The bomber design seems to take some influence from the Thunder bomber from TA:

    This is a good thing to be influenced by. :)

    I tend to agree with this after giving it another good look. Too-small boats are one of SupCom's biggest flaws, let's have some bigger boats than these ones.

    From a practical point of view a ~250m boat would be unmanoeuvreable and unwieldy, and you would only want to build it on a big map with a lot of clear open water. But then there will be maps fitting this profile, and if epic scale is the plan then I think realistic-sized battleships are a must.

    Isn't the main reason for large ships to have all the space in order to support the crew? In PA there's no crew, just Mr. Commander acting as sort of "hive mind".

    So IMO there's no need to make bulky units if you don't need space for people. All those large submarines that have been listed have quite a lot of space reserved just for the marines.

    A note on the naval units:

    while they seem to be made for humans, i'd like to note that this does not HAVE to be the case, and that the extra space might just as well be jam-packed with all the computronics to keep the vessel fighting.

    Not everyone wants to have every unit the size of a pea mate, some people want to be able to easily identify units :)

    The naval units are smaller then real life ones, but the maps/planets are much smaller than Earth. Just guessing that Uber is probably making them a size that will make sense for the map/planet size we will have in-game.
