The Assualt has Terrell Owens number.. and he kind of looks like him. Was this intentional?

I see no resemblance apart from the number and they're both black.

The assault does have a bit of a long face, but they both have this superstar athlete aura about them.

TO doesn't have perma-red eyes and their faces look completely different.
