How to change Account Settings

So I'm changing my email due to Microsoft changing their EULA in that same way I hate so much. I'm attempting to migrate everything I use with my Hotmail account to my new one, but when I go into Account Settings, it just stalls on me. It asks me to sign in with my Ubernet account, tells me I signed in successfully, and then nothing happens. The page just stays stuck there. Assistance, please?

Not to highjack this thread, but I am also looking at getting my forum name changed to Trophy System. I think I see a lot of other forum users with cognitive names, but when I made mine I ended up with this.

Know what would be an "Uber" Christmas present?

I'm currently going through all the websites I'm registered on and changing from my internet providers email to gmail.

Changing email is a pain in the *** on some site.
One site, I had to ask the one responsible for the website as the account info can't be found anywhere. On EA, I had to get help from the support as their system don't seem to allow numbers in the email. Here at uberent, it halts on the login screen that won't go away.

best place to change it yourself is:

Just login with your UberNet ID. Currently requires access to your old email account, though we'll be fixing that soon.

Was having trouble changing my forum ID as well.
The above URL allowed me to see my Uber purchases and display name for Uber games, but won't be sure if it changes my display name on the forums until I click the Submit button...

Edit: There appears to be no way to currently change my forum ID. Using a different browser still stalls out after attempting to change my account settings on the forum.

Forum software is built on phpBB, so unfortunately it's a matter of spending time figuring out all the underworkings of php, or working on games. We make updates to the forum backend when we can, but it is lower priority work.

Also, there's good reason to not allow display names on forums, honestly. Pure anonymity is not good for a forum community. It's already too easy for people to make troll accounts and come here and abuse people without many repercussions. I know for most people it's simply a matter of how they normally like to be identified, but a system that allows a display name change at any time tends to breed [even worse] bad behavior. You can update your email address now, btw, even if you no longer have access to your old email account. To validate the new address, you'll still need to do the normal "Receive mail, click link".

Is this a bug or is there a locked and hidden email setting?

When I thanked garat for the link, I had changed my email address to the new one. But I keep getting emails on my old address because I've subscribed to this topic. I just unsubscribed and subscribed to the topic again to see if I'm getting the emails on my new address.

Hmm, it may be updating just for UberNet and not propagating to the phpBB code. Will have to investigate. Sub code is all handled by phpBB, so that may not be getting updated.

Didn't think about that. Can add that I got the subscripbtion email on my old address even though I unsubscribed and subscribed again, so that's propably how it is.
