    Lambda Expressions? I find them very handy in C# but they do not always lead to the best performance :mrgreen:

    Actually I was just referring to http://www.stroustrup.com/C++11FAQ.html#algorithms

    BTW, a bit of off-topic. Will we celebrate a month since the last weekly update at 22.12.12? Maybe by releasing new update with actual game design information?

    I was skimming through the forums and saw this, wanted to respond.

    I should have mentioned the "continuum crowds" paper. If you google that you'll find the paper and videos. That's what originally inspired the Supreme Commander 2 flow fields implementation.

    My implementation didn't follow the paper exactly, but the fundamentals of integrating path cost over a field are the same.
