After they announced the churro in MNC i wanted to try one. i have always seen them at boardwalks and amusment parks but never tried them, are they good? what do they taste like? what are they typicaly made from? thanx :ugeek:
imagine a cinnamon bun-ish flavor in a breadstick shape. basically if you have have the cinnamon twists at taco bell you have a had a crappy version of a churro. about the taste but way better. since this is real life churros it should probably go in O.T. by the way, variations of the churro can have caramel inside and i have heard of the sweet cream cheese like in a canolli being in them too.
Blasphemy! A true churro is made by a street vendor and have no inner room for filling. About as thick as your pinkie or ring finger of fried dough. All they need is sugar and a cup of hot coco never hurt
I think Jack In the Box sells them. They're not as long as a traditional churros. They're cut up into bite size chunks but they taste the same. The best ones come from carnivals and such. "Eat a churros" needs to be on everyone's bucket list.
I'm not sure if you guys have them at where you live, but Costco sells churros. I remember I got a brace tightening and it hurt like crazy when I tried to eat something, but I went ahead and got a churro anyways and ate it all. Moral of the story: Nothing will stop you from eating churros.
Churros are awesome, try them whenever you can, specially if they can be covered in chocolate (or anything else that's sweet)
