I can't help but feel like I'm the only raver that plays SMNC. Anyone else here enjoy gloving, is attracted to rave chicks (or guys, whatever your into), or generally into electronic music?

It would be nice to play with people that know what finger tutting is, know what I mean when I say "PLUR", know the best shuffling/gloving songs, etc.

I was into the Rave culture for quite many of years.

In fact, I used to be a Dj for a nightclub here in Dallas for quite some time (EDM Music)

I have been to many many raves and insane large events like that, mostly when I was a little younger, always had a blast.

I still go to UMF (Ultra Music Festival) in Miami once a year, it's amazing.

I also Spin fire poi as a hobby for many years now, I started out spinning glowsticks at first, I have some video's if interested.

Anyways, I am a little older now so I don't 'party / rave' like I used to, but I still like the culture and most definitely like electro music (well some of it).

It is, especially going V.I.P as I usually do, and airfare, hotel, ect ect.

But it's an utterly amazing experience, worth every dime that I've spent there so far.

That's awesome! good to know there are other people who appreciate the lifestyle I live.
Fire poi is way cool, but I usually go with sticks, gloves, or shuffling as they look the most inpressive imo.

When I go to raves impressing someone is the last thing on my list. I used to go to raves every weekend back when I lived in NY. Here in FL the scene is too candy for me so I don't really go anymore. Though this past September Angerfist did come to Miami and I went and seen him sadly the venue was really small.

Gloving is new to me. Back in my rave days it was either glowsticks or blacklight paint. lol

I get a natural high off of hearing people say stuff like "wow, you're so good" and "how long have you been doing that"

plus I really like picking up rave chicks. so it all works out for me :)

In your fevered adolescence midst flashing lights and sultry intoxicated broads you have all lost the true meaning of the raving lifestyle. Lost to the ages of mediocrity, do you fools even ride the Translucent Serpent of Nonconsensual Fervor anymore, or whatever you kids are calling it these days? The last time I remember going to a rave was in the summer of '11. There I found myself, under the scorching heat of the spotlight dancing in all my majesty. It was a bad scene, the other rave patrons where complete downers. All the other people on the dance floor where either frozen in awe at the beauty of my rhythmic palpating thighs or passed out OD'd in the corner of the dance floor. At least the ones in the corner where twitching to the sh*tty rhythm. Oh, yes, did I mention how piss the DJ was? He was playing some new age giddy kiddo bullsh*t and wasn't even dropping the bass at regular intervals. At a certain point I of course managed to turn the rave around when one of the ravers began to cry and distracted the DJ and Swat Team just long enough to pull out the MK9 taped to the underside of my thigh, shoot out the search light, and slip away into the darkness. To this day I'm still blacklisted at over seven day care centers in South Dakota. You could only dream of being such a prolific and famous raver.

    Rave life.
    Do you even rave?

*sigh* You guys make fun of me in all my SMNC posts, so I make an off topic thread to talk to the select few that share my interest.

You decide to come to my off topic thread to mock my hobby, and for what reason?

I'm done with smnc, you guys are the worst community I've ever met

While I do think he's overreacting, you guys are absolute dicks. Now, this instance didn't actually seem offensive, it's just Reg being his normal fever dream of a syphilitic mind self, this community is indeed pretty shitty and I can see why he'd be upset.

None of their replies are mildly offensive sans Knickles, and his still falls in the very mild category. hue

    Oh, I'm the problem?

What about Jaysaurous and Reguality? They clearly stepped over the line when it comes to personal attacks.
