Go into control panel -> Hardware and Sound -> RealTek HD Audio Manager and set the speaker configuration to 5.1.

I think the problem is that MNC doesn't support 7.1 yet so you may be able to fix the sound on other devices by setting the sound to 5.1.

    Hope this helped!

Its just a pair of apple earbuds. Not using anything fancy yet. I'm too lazy to move my turtle beach from my xbox to the pc.

I don't have a surround sound setup or anything, just 2 speakers, but this fix works for me. I had my sound set to "2CH Speaker" in the Realtek HD Audio Manager and got no sound in game, but if I switch it up to "6CH Speaker" (5.1) sound works fine.

So, it's not so much that MNC doesn't support 7.1 sound (w/ Realtek only?) and more that it only supports 5.1.
