Im going to need to update my sound system! Anyone know where i can get some cheap Bose Speakers and sub woofer
Bose are mediocre. If you can get Bose speakers at a good price second hand go ahead but although not terrible speakers, they're generally overpriced and thus poor value. Focal XS is one of the better compact desktop solutions. Not cheap, but they're worth the money if you're interested in good audio. I've had them for 18 months and no complaints, they sound fantastic. They plug straight into USB and have a good integrated sound card. Or you can pick up reasonably good quality headphones from £80-100 (GBP) or so, but should probably consider a decent sound card to go with them.
I buyed once, long time ago, some speakers from Creative, 2.1 and I still have them. When I played HL2 with all that bass, my ears orgasmed I hope destroying planet and PA music will be that amazing.
I've always liked B&W speakers although I've been running paradigm speakers in my theater for the last 5 years or so.
