Microphone push to talk

Is there an option so that I'm not forced to use push to talk?
I had to map the function to left thumb stick press down since its the only button not in use (within easy reach). While not really a problem, it is a little annoying when I could just talk on the 360 version and it would pick it up. Was there a reason this was done?

And before anyone starts, yes MB+K are better, but I don't care.

Push to Talk is widely preferred on PC games. Voice activated tends to be very annoying.

What is the default key and what is it named as in the key binding menu? I couldn't find it.

It should be T. It was on mine.

Though I've moved mine to Left Shift.

ive tried to find a good key to bind Push to talk to but havent really found one yet. seems all my fingers are always busy, and cutting a sentence short just as you are about to say assassin ........ you or juiced ....... side, just to throw a bomb prolly wouldnt work to well. So im still looking for an appropriate key binding.

ive tried middle mouse button, but every time i click to fire while i talk i tend to unclick the middle mouse button. tab doesnt work to well cause i use my pinky for the blue ability. only thing that i can think of that might work is the left alt btn. but it would be difficult to manage jumping while talking.

Any ideas?

blue skill on middle mouse and push to talk on left shift!! viola!!

Haha, success. Now what do you use for Juice?

i might be weird i use the scroll for juice and yellow skill, but yeah haha

how do you mute people? i haven't looked but i cant be bothered to jump on just to look for that? and if you can't we need it.

There's no option to mute people just yet.

Start pestering Uber for it.
