Why do snipers rage at you when you don't headshot them?

This seems to be a common theme. I was playing some kid named AnArticFox (may or may not be a furry) on Steel peel, I outmoney'd him and had a slightly better k/d and I get this hate mail about how I'm a noob because I didn't headshot him my only kills on him were explosive bullets and body shots and he headshotted me, learn to play etc etc.

Does it seriously matter how you get kills? My team won and I earned more money them him yet I'm a scrub? I just don't get sniper logic. I get hate mail liek this all the time.

Some snipers like to complain about explosive bullets as they think it cheapens the class, but I'll always upgrade to it as I like to help push bots. They do need to change it to where shooting your own bots won't do damage to Pros around.

As for Artic, I've heard he does send a lot of rage messages.

If it's in the game, use it. Don't worry about Fox.

I for one think explosive rounds are cheap when it comes to shooting bots and turrets to get kills on Pros. But I don't think it matters when it comes to killing other snipers if it is a headshot or not. If the connection to the host isn't strong enough, it makes headshots difficult. So body shots are safer in higher lag situations.

To be a skilled sniper it does. Takes little skill to get body shots over and over.
