I'm asking about PC updates vs Xbox updates. Notice that the letters P and C are next to each other in that phrase.

It's as relevant as far as the game is concerned, because it will have both versions. However your concern might not be at the appropriate place (which I believe it isn't) and here you might be not as well attended or heard. I'll spare myself being irritated over your sarcasm even though I'm trying to help you.

thanks for the quick response. What options can we change in the "create game" menu? Specifically can we limit classes (ie only 1 sniper per team etc.)

We probably won't know that until the beta actually launches.

On the xbox though, private games do allow you to limit the number of classes per team. So my guess is that yes, you'll be able to do that.

Other options in xbla private matches include match time, overtime length (possible to set it to zero), juice off, hazards off, etc.

since I don't know how the xbox version works (tried looking it up) or if its different in the beta...

how integral are the bots in this game? can you turn them off for private matches? can we up the player count so there are fewer bots?

The bots are quite literally the only way to win the game(aside from going into overtime). They take down the moneyball's shields so you can attack it. Upping the amount of players wouldn't affect the bots.

I think hes talking about bot characters, not the creeps/minions or whatever you call them in this game.

Yeah in MNC parlance they're called fodder. You have to escort them from your base to the enemy base while protecting them from the enemy and destroying the enemy's own fodder. If you do it successfully they'll jump on the money ball, and once enough of them have done so you'll be able to attack it directly.

There are no bots in the game in the sense of an AI controlled teammate.

Well, I've never heard anyone call them fodder, and i've been around since day one. =P

Sorry I misunderstood you, like faits said, there are no AI player bots.

The devs refer to the bots as fodder all the time. I'm pretty sure support even has a line he'll say about 'going to spawn the fodder now' when you go to spawn gapshots, too.

no I was talking about the minions, but I guess they are a big part of the game. I just didnt know how they work in the game. I like to take out the AI aspect of the game but it seems they are just lemmings that only go after the money ball or something (correct me if I am wrong).

If by minions you mean bots, then yes their job is to take down other bots, turrets, and the money ball.

They will also attack pros when they are in range.
