I was super excited when i found out MNC would be coming to steam but I was disappointed to see that it would be PC only, so I was just wondering if there could be a Mac version anytime in the near future

Probably not since we're using Unreal3. As far as I know there's no Mac support except on iOS devices.

Your best bet would be to run it in Parallels or your preferred VM.

Well, dammit. I didn't even think to look since Steam is available on Mac OS X now. Will have to see if I can get a refund. I always forget people still use Windows.

lol what? I think you will find the vast majority use windows for gaming purposes. Let's not even mention which operating system dominates offices.

Killing Floor runs on Unreal 2.5 which supports mac and opengl. I don't think unreal 3 does.

You could try Wine for OSX(http://wiki.winehq.org/MacOSX/Installing). Obviously I can't say whether or not MNC works with it yet, but UT 3 and Borderlands are both playable under linux with Wine and Steam definitely works. Note that you'll have to also install the windows version of Steam via Wine and install/launch MNC from within the windows Steam client.

Via Bob Berry's (CEO of Uber) Twitter: @ooo27: We don't have any plans now to bring MNC to Mac Steam, but I'm all Mac at home and will definitely put some thought into what it would take.
