Hello everyone. :p I'm excited about this game. Jessop got me to preorder it. :D Will the PC version be a FPS? This kinda makes shooters more engaging, IMO. I'm kinda hoping it will be...

The trailer and the game description on Steam show third person, so I doubt that that will change.

Yeah, I guessed as much. :'( It was worth asking. I guess I'll just try to get used to 3rd person... I have been dying to play a creative shooter besides TF2 recently. Monday Night Combat is the only thing that comes close. :D

It's 3PS, just like the Xbox version.

Will the speed of the gameplay be increased at all to reflect mouse usage?

    on that note..

UBER, please allow FOV changes! At least up to 100. To be stuck at an xbox FOV on PC would be just awful

Maybe there is something I'm not understanding about the concept of field-of-vision, but since this is a third-person game, isn't the FOV going to be determined by the screen aspect ratio, and most of all, the distance from the camera to the character?

Increasing the FOV would require the camera to be moved further away, if I'm not mistaken.

Just think of it as putting a different lens on the camera. High FOV = fisheye. Low FOV = zoom. In fact, zooming in games often works by simply changing the FOV internally.
