Ha, I wish. I'm mostly laying down the law on spambots these days. I need more time for my hobbies. These days I barely have the time to read the most important forums.

Hey, maybe I should start a 5th 'official' thread.

Was playing Total Annihilation ever since I first watched SY_SJ & Gnug_115 vs Gnug_315 & TAG_Rock duking it out on Painted Desert for an epic 3.5hrs back in 1999/2000. Geek-out!

Then switched to SupCom 1. Loved watching the Quad V tournies when Sir_Loui was dominating. Then he quit, boo. Appreciated the idea of SupCom (BIG strategy is BIG yeah) but it never felt finished – polished. Units moving about and in battle felt like skating on ice, whereas on TA they felt satisfyingly chunky and had robotic character. Forged Alliance made huge improvements but I wish they'd stuck to three races and made an actual gameplay patch or two.

Then SupCom 2. Good fun for a few beers with mates on Skype at the weekend. Again, it looked sexy and had a lot of great UI changes but ultimately it lacked depth and character IMO.

So now I'm pledging a butt-load of hard, cold cash in the desperate hope that Planetary Annihilation can revive my old TA-era childhood and... OK, that won't happen, it's just my unprocessed nostalgia, but dammit I need something epic and strategic to play now I'm getting bored of StarCraft 2.

Supcom FA and its player awesome level is so high that the mods have to censor/edit comments for the safety of others on the site.

KIN0025 here. Wasn't very active on the Sup Com community, hoping to be more active here.

Why should I leave because I have a less snobby view of games? It's not like this is an elite game club...

Just ignore him, FA's playerbase is very friendly, but every "club" have people who feel entitled and will look down upon others. Do not let this fool destroy what a lovely bunch most of FAs playerbase are like.
Best thing you can do is to completely ignore him. Welcome to the internet ^^
