what is a good size for signature pic? I've got an idea for photoshop-ing one together but don't how big to make it. I want it be good sized but not obnoxiously big. Pixel by Pixel size is desired but you can give as inches by inches. Is 200 pixels by 600 pixels too big?
Most places do 400x100, but it depends upon the forum. The biggest I've seen here are 600x140, 500x160, & 450x150.
The length is ok, but you should probably make it more like 100 or 150 pixels tall. A long signature doesn't cause problems, but a tall one makes users have to scroll more.
Orly? =P To answer your question bronco, I think my sig is probably already a little on the large side. 100-160px height should be fine imo. If it is stunningly beautiful (like all sigs from Tiny_Puppy_Smasher) I don't care about the size though. TPS could have a monitor-filling sig and I wouldn't mind.
Thanks for all the suggestions guys. It still seems a little tall at 150 pix but i didn't want to shrink it too much and still keep it in a good ratio. So, without further ado........ CHECK OUT MY NEW SIG!!
