Nerf the Assassin

My theory:
The complainers are people who usually play Supports and Snipers and who used to gain juice just as fast as Assassins but can no longer keep up by just doing their own thing after the DLC. Counter-juicing is a favorite tactic to stop Juicers and now that they can't do that, they are more frustrated?

If you look at most of the threads, the complaint is mostly about juice. The Assassin just gets picked on because juiced-assassin turret blending is very popular and you see it all the time.

Tanks are not complained about as much because they are so slow - so for them to farm juice and get into enemy bases is harder. Not to mention the fact that, because they are slow, they simply can't run to all your turrets and destroy them like Assassins can.

Actually 3.3 overhealed rokits with a firebase are very hard to deal with.

Learn to counter something before you complain, i don't complain that i have a super weakness to tanks/gunners

and honestly, Assassins are incredibly weak. Rarely ever do you see one go positive. Their only real strength is bot and turret killing. And both of those can be countered fairly easily.

Gunner slams and assault charges dont instakill me, i wear gold armor lol.

But i agree, juice is the assassin's reward for being so vulnerable, like the tank's reward for bad juice gain is awesome strength and defense

Actually the reason why you don't see complaint threads about Tanks is because not as many players use them.

I play Tank when I get Juice you better call the dogs because not only am I destroying all your turrets I am also going to kill anyone that tries to control me. Tanks may be slow but juice makes them faster and they have a charge skill that gets them around easier. Not to mention when that Charge is at level 3 you better not me standing in front of me...

I can't remember which forum guys I was playing with, but there was a couple guys in a game juice rushing, so we all gathered around them when they charged the base and took turns grappling them. Wasted their juice and there was nothing they could do about it. I bet they were super pissed getting grappled by 4 different people back to back. :lol:

If assassins did a little less damage to turrets when juiced i'd be happy, not a huge change just so they can't 3 hit a level 2 hacked rocket turret without any penalty. Gunner's mortars are sort of made to be anti turret but the assassin is so much better at taking them out

If it was a tank, it was probably me. That happened to me today, it was juice I built up without buying too, lol. I wasn't so much angered as surprised that so many people rallied to stop me.

People can have an issue with juice and how it affects certain classes while still knowing about how to "crowd-control" them. While some people may not argue the point as well as others, to out of hand dismiss them seems...obtuse, for lack of a better word. There are legitimate complaints about juice and juice-gaining ability.

3.3 ShaveIce turrents

even lvl 1 shave ice turrets are amazing for letting others see the silly assassins

I just received a few hate messages for my play as an Assassin. Ended up 21-8-0 with Juice used 9 times (bought it twice during OT). However, it took a lot of careful planning on when to pop out to kill bots to generate the juice.

Their lone sniper tried to grab me during the runs, but most people just run around shooting as if they don't know what to do. And they didn't build any Shave-Ices, so I just got to run wild in their base destroying turrets.

so does most people who play street fighter. everyone wants a ump45. why are people with skill the only ones who hate that stuff?

anyhow, id barely agree that the assassin needs a VERY SLIGHT juice nerf, or better yet, slightly less total health when juiced.

but with skills like mine (and pretty much the common forum player, which should be anyone with common sense's skillz), juiced assassin rushing constantly can only build you a nice kill streak.

Yea so true. I think shaveices are underrated, they may not return the cash spend on them like the other turrents but they nullify invisibility and increase the efficiency of other turrents.

I always building a fat old lvl3 Shaveice and hacking it to cover the whole base once overtime comes around.

As a Tank player hacked Shave-Ices are detrimental to me/us. I already walk slow as it is...

hack a shaveice and put your firebase close by and grapple the assassin even shotgun them. The only reason it seems OP is because no one works together.

When i play with tom deadstretch and all my other friends we have no problems...
