How does this make me a jerk? I'm taking advantage of the 30-45 second downtime at the start of each round when players are usually too busy sitting on the upper ring picking stats (c'mon guys it should be taking no longer than 1-2 seconds picking skills) or playing grab-*** with each other for the prime firebasing/sniping/'nading spots to remove two very expensive resources and put the opposing team at a cash deficit very early on.

I'll say this right now though: for every Rock-It I drop at the opening of a match I can guaran-damn-tee my team (I play with randoms ALOT) will NOT capitalize on the opening it provides.

    And that makes me sad.

My general starting strats for each map. May change depending on map or who I'm playing or may simply not work due to what my enemies are doing.

Assault: Charge out of spawn, buy passive 2 and bomb 2, then try to get set up somewhere outside of the enemies spawn with a REALLY annoying bomb. If they don't have a support healing, start destroying their turrets. Ring out anyone that comes for me and just be really annoying. Quite often people will get pissed off and keep rage rushing me, so free ring outs/bomb kills for me. If they flank, either try to get away with charge or try to knock them away with it.

Support: Start healing as soon as I spawn, heal teammates, overshield the rockits, heal bots and follow a slim to get the infinite juice as quick as possible. Sometime in there I buy firebase 2 and hack 2, hack a rockit, and I try to put the firebase in a good offensive position, but if I can't I'll put it in my base.. Rape the enemy base with my juice to get money for skills then play the match from there.

Gunner: Rush to the middle of the map (save grenadeiii) to try to get map control straight away. If accomplished, I'll probably already have enough for double mini/triple mortars so I can go destroy their turrets whenever I want. Then just move around the map killing the enemies and doing whatever from there.

Tank: Spawn tank jump and destroy enemy bots asap and maybe kill a turret IF (and ONLY IF) I'm extremely lucky in the enemy team not paying attention. Just keep pushing bots and spamming my skills the rest of the match while doing whatever to build juice.

Assassin: Rush their bots straight away and try to get katana and cloak up. If enemy is unaware, smokebomb their turret (if I have katana). If it's sort of unsafe, shuriken it. Keep destroying bots and annoying enemies the rest of the match.

Sniper: I don't really have a set thing to do with the sniper... Sometimes I sit back and work on their bots and sometimes I push up and put ice traps everywhere.

I think that was just an expression of frustration at the tactic. I don't do that tactic if I see most of the team is full of players that are higher then 40 b/c they know that tactic and just snuff my gremlins out.

If I had a nickel for each time I did that and had my team not capitlize... well, I wouldn't need to take out any college loans, that's for sure!
