Can i donate 50 dollars and then donate more every or every other month? i.e. are donations additive or are they singular and final?

Although, without wanting to tread on anyones toes, I'm sure I read that there will be options in the future to donate to get access to beta and the like, but it will be more expensive that it is now.
Thanks for the reply and the link- informative.. Only found out about the game yesterday. I`m hoping they extend the donation process or streamline some kind of process for people who are willing to keep donating..
