Fractions? I assume you mean factions, and in that case: no need to start another poll about it.

    May I pick one? I'm a fan of 1/8.

As long as they include 5/4. And get rid of 1/3; that was the worst fraction.

I would guess fractions are part of TA/supcom, I kind of doubt the whole math involved is just integer based. ;)

while where are at it, how about fractals, perhaps in the procedural terrain generation. :)

PA must have at least two fractions. Otherwise how can you multiply?

Good idea indeed... seriously I mean. As we got "whole" planets this might be a good solution for doing coast lines. Do you think this is worth it's own thread?

I for one think fractal coastlines lack a certain class. We need to find a fellow who can really give those coastlines a nice Baroque feeling, real custom fjords. A master craftsman of fjords is an absolute must.

Nah, with a fractal algorithm you might be able to generate convincing coastlines.

There was that one guy, used to work for Magrathea. Real classy fjords. Someone forward Uber his contact information.

Of course- Uber is working on a real time campaign that also requires fjords. He's perfect.

Why did you simply ignore my argument? As far as I know it will be possible to generate maps in PA. So having a guy doing some custom coast lines for a fix set of standard maps won't help the problem that you need a good algorithm to generate things like coastlines.

I did not mean to offend. It's just this guy makes the best fjords you can imagine. Won an award for some of his work on the Mk I. Sadly, they didn't give him any glaciers to work with on the Mk II, but Uber won't make that mistake.

You forgot the part where I changed the name of the game I was playing to, "Drawing Giant Spark Penis for Kelleroid."
