    when the asteroid hits the metal planet at 1.5mil part of me wants to see it bounce off or leave a massive dint in it

    If the metal planets are big old space ships I don't imagine they would survive very well, but they might have built in asteroid defense for such occasions or they might be able to move if you have warning.

    Perhaps it should smash straight through the metal planet and continue on, trailing a tail of debris and twisted metal into the galactic war? :)
