Hey man, we were all there at one point or another, learning how to bypass restrictions is what made us kids! Hehe.

I am surprised they even use a black list, it would be much more effective (and evil) to use a white list.

Not all... Dropping out is not something you should do ever. Change schools if you have to.

I used to be the schools assistant librarian, so I saved passwords and all sorts of stuff onto a flash drive, and I would just put that thing into any computer and I could get past the firewall it was funny until I let my friends borrow it and they went to every computer in the library and pulled up porn and put the computers into a standby mode so the next day when students would turn the computers on porn would pop up. we still have yet to get caught for that.

lmao. sadly, most schools arent the masters of firewalls...

i can pull up whatever i want at my school, by loading the computer up with the network cable plugged it (so it will even go to the log-on screen), then unplug it before it finishes loading the log-on screen (so it wont finish applying computer settings), and plugging it back in after logging in (giving you access to the internet again, just without computer monitoring settings)

plus, you could always go into CMD to run anything the school has set to hidden on the computers, like settings and programs like minesweeper and solitare.

you open your primary data folder, and click the backspace button, and it takes you to "network places", and backspace again takes you to "my computer" (two folders the computer tries to hide your access to), which is how you get to CMD Prompt in the first place.

hmm I never thought about running a cmd. smart!
I did however save games onto a flash drive and I would play them at school, that flash drive was like the ultimate source of fun at school!

This is what really makes the security part of my job annoying. So many teachers do this, then complain when the students start messing with them.

Where I work we have plenty of confidential business information, research information, prototypes...
Every two weeks some bright eyed intern stands in front of me and asks how he can access the server with the login information he got from his boss. That's really frustrating... :S

Lol I usually just play Minecraft. It's quite fun because I have a bunch of my friends playing with me as well because we are in the same class and we all have access.
