Truly this is the list of things over powered Gunner especially has a very powerful gun with no damage drop off unlike most guns and ive seen him outrange snipers seriously. he also seems very uncreative as their is no role that isint filled by other classes and has a stereotypical hawaiin character which looks crappy compared to the unique characters of others. in short the fact that he is a master of all ranges and has second best health in the game makes on the surface seem really unbalanced not to mention i play the class when i dont want to really try and yet i make mvp by just holding the figgin trigger Support really the only few things i find wrong with him is his firebase is way to strong and to ability to spam 3 sitcky automatic kill airstrikes and lob them really far so as not to disturb their firebase perch is really overpowered. i wouldint mind a stronger juiced support only if he didint get juice for over healing thats almost like getting juice for watching your allies charge into battle other than that he is very varied and fantastic at the role of support(if you play him right) Sniper has two things an overpowered frost trap which anybody without out a jetpack cant jumpover not to mention it freezes rather than slows at level 2. i also find the grapple rfeally powerful and its like having to dodge an uber sniper only to meet an uber cqc specialist. to end on a positive note for your first game this was better than any callofduty and medal of honor i have everplayed and other than these few things this is perfect and with growth could become the best game ever i only hope this will be read by serious people thank you uber mnc community for reading my personal notes of mnc hiyoo
he cant kill bots well, thus he cant be the only class everyone uses and you still win a game. he is getting a nerf at range, but he sucks at long range still, if you kill a sniper at long range then you get to laugh at that sniper; he deserves to break his hard drive in half (id say disc, but this game isnt on one ). anyhow, gunner is simple and powerful when you have the jump, it kills so fast. but when an enemy knows your location, they really really should feel embarrased when they STILL die... the airstrikes are getting nerfed as well, but since you can avoid the kill by moving, or moving under cover, they are also not too big. the firebase cant move, if you cant eventually kill a support or his firebase in a stationary position, something is wrong. try flak/mortar/jetgun/airstrike/smokebomb? anybody with a jetpack OR lunge OR charge can get over ice traps. hey wait, thats everybody but support :shock: . and if you ever played street fighter, you know how NOT to eat command grab... you stay away from kissing range. if your a tank or gunner, he should be dead before he can get that close, and if your anything else just outrun his grapple-run... empty grapple makes the sniper look like hes trying to hug your bullets :mrgreen: cant complain about this. this game is at least a bit better than CoD classic, which was the best to date, with MW1 being a close second with its lame grenade launchers putting it down there...
i agree with you on most of it except that gunners suck against bots really the minigun sucks against bots the mortar whitch is like a grenade launcher on steroids is perfect and slam stuns deploy brings more firepower and grapple should kill most bots.

I'm somewhat happy about it. The less air strike spam, and the less spam in general, the better. You may not be as mash-y with your B button than some other supports, but the spammy supports outweigh the non-spammy. And, y'know, them being able to kill pretty much any pro with one strike. Somewhat extreme! I think I read from a developer that whatever is updated in crossfire, carries over to blitz. So, cheaper rock-it turrets get carried over (YES!!) but so does the slower recharge for air-strikes. I mean, I'm not one to really use 'em in blitz and I do just fine, but I can see it being a problem for other supports that like using air-strikes a lot in blitz. On an unrelated note, I went 33 kills, 14 assists, and 2 deaths yesterday in crossfire as support. Don't fret, it was my best run as support, so I'm totally not bragging. It's not like I can accomplish that willy nilly. Firebase was set up around the annihilator, purposefully underneath the overhanging ring on Lazerazor arena. Shotgun is totally one of my favorite weapons. I remember a tank using his rail gun on my firebase around a corner. I was sitting on juice for about a minute and just decided to run up to him, juice, and BAM! One shotgun blast to the face and he did a back flip. I lol'd so hard. Eh... hopefully you enjoyed that random story. I know I did, typing it out.
Gunner is probably the most well rounded class in the game still. Most combat spaces are ideal for mid range, which is where his mini-gun will destroy. Too close? Eat a slam. Oh, and his grapple is actually decent at rank 2, and hilarious at rank 3. The mortar is easy mode turret killing. No other class has a spammable turret demolishing weapon. On some maps, it's effective enough on bots because they walk right past the turret you're already shelling. And for the first 10 minutes of the match, they can handle a standard 3 bot march. Shoot the slim(s), grapple 1 blackjack, grapple the other blackjack (skill then mortar alt fire). Only takes a second or two longer then an assassin knifing them due to animations. The triple blackjack march is a little harder, and usually requires the mortar at the right distance to handle without getting beat up. I mean seriously, they can even mow down a tank at close range just by holding down the shoot button unless the tank blows product grenade and charge while mixing in some regular jet/rail gun fire. (ignoring the obvious that the tank should win if he sneaks up on the gunner, that goes without saying for all classes ) I use to think it was stupid that an assassin could 1 shot a gunner with armor 3 endorsement from behind... but now I'm grateful they can. Other wise gunners would be over powered to the point that only a really good sniper or truly amazing assassins could keep them at bay. I still have nightmares about that AmmoMule game against 4 gunners and 2 support... our base wasn't allowed to have turrets. Ever. No one on my team could play assassin or sniper worth a damn. It was a massacre. :tears:
